HOW TO MARKET A JEWELRY WEBSITE

How to Market a Jewelry Website

Marketing your jewelry website can be easy if you understand the right ways to advertise and you have an idea of who your audience will be. When you know the type of jewelry you will be selling, it will be easier to know who to market your products too. By doing some simple online advertising, creating flyers and business cards, and having a newsletter, you will get more people to visit your jewelry website.
Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions

1     Create a newsletter for your website, and create a place where interested subscribers can sign up. Let subscribers know about current sales, specials, and any new jewelry designs that will be appearing on your website. Also let subscribers have special sales that are just for them as well.

2     Order business cards that have the name of your jewelry business, an address, phone number, and especially your website URL listed on it. Pass out your business cards to anybody that you know. Include a few extra business cards with your jewelry orders too.

3     Email all of your friends, family, and any other current jewelry customers letting them know about your website. Give them special offers for stopping by your website such as 10% off or maybe even a free pair of earrings with an order.

4     Design flyers to distribute within your community and other jewelry stores. Place them in any high traffic areas.

5    Advertise your jewelry website in the newspaper. Include a special code for those who see your website in the paper so that they can get a special offer on your website when they make a purchase.

6    Speak with your local chamber of commerce to find out about joining the chamber. Market your website at all of their events and advertise any of your products to those who may be interested.

7    Host jewelry parties and include your website URL on your invitations and hand out business cards to those who show up. Allow them to have special web coupons where they can get specials for their first purchases from your website.
